I don't know if its the capture software or if the phones interface is really that laggy but Anew does have a point.

YEah, the video capture software is really laggy, however, if you look at the benchmarks on Nexus One's, those were, at the time, one of the fastest phones on the market, with a little tweaking and lots of time finding the right kernel, the Evo4G came in at the top with a considerable margin.
