Seems as though Microsoft has brought it's Windows Phone design to the UI of the XBox... So if any of you are still living in the 360 world, what do you think of it?
I think it looks nice, a little cluttered as is the windows phone, but it runs smoothly. Some main issues that I have noticed...
Netflix is a bitch and doesn't quite run right yet.
EPIX isn't currently working properly(12-6-11)
The clutter of the design is a true nuisance, however if you're a Windows Phone UI fan, then you will more than likely enjoy the new design... And of course, the UI is much SHINIER... of course.
The shinier things are the better they run, everyone knows that. I mean look at the transition from XP->Vista->7. LoL.

looks good to me.. Though I can't speak much considering I haven't used Xboxes that much

They are trying to do that with every microsoft device. Thats basically what windows 8 is.
I talked with the guy who designed the Phone version and he was so full of shit.

How so?
I've seen some W8 images and you're right about them making the UI like that.. Though I do hope I can turn it off if I end up buying 8 as it doesn't seem very appealing.

It's alright, it runs very little better, and instead of just being able to access stuff, they have "apps" for everything and have also added cloud storage.

apps is actually the first word that came to mind when I saw the windows 8 images... I hate that word
Cloud storage seems nice though, anything else ?
