  1. Haunted Hospital

I'm currently at my girlfriends house in Peterborough, Canada and I've been thinking about certain ghostly things I've seen in my childhood because of an earlier post I've read and replied to (here ) and she tells me that there's an abandoned hospital up the road which constructors were going to tear down when they experienced something and ran away and its been there all this time, empty, wires and things pulled out of the ceiling and walls, flooded basement, strange looking morgue and the list goes on (shes been there once just seeing if she could sight anything unusual) and there have been some ghost sightings there. So I was thinking of going there tonight to see for myself how it is, even if I don't find anything it still sounds pretty spooky from her description especially on a full moon night like tonight. Sadly we don't have any recording equipment with us here so I can post it later on :/ but I will post what I saw and didn't see and how it is.
  2. Sea Serpents

Hydra means water serpent (like the Lernean Hydra, a many-headed serpent in Greek mythology.) Although if you Google Hydra images you'll notice that most are depicted as a multiple headed dragon which aren't very accurate in having to do with something of water in my opinion.
  3. Sea Serpents

Greetings. I noticed that there was't any topic on sea serpents (the closest topic was the Loch ness monster), so I decided to start one myself. Sightings of sea serpents have been seen for as long as men ventured off into the ocean in boats and still are claimed to be seen. Some claim them to be serpentine, slimy, scaly and many other characteristics that vary. Most skeptics say its a whale or the rare Oar fish (I could understand someone mistake those as a sea monster if they knew nothing of fish and marine mammals), while cryptozoologists say that they may be prehistoric marine reptiles like the Plesiosaur or Mosasaur. While reading back on some old folklore of the ocean and things about sea serpents, we understand that some are exaggerated like that some were so long that they encircled the entire world, but all the stories and sightings, they're all similar in certain ways from multiple places around the world. if you want to further read on this topic here's a Wiki link http://en.wikipedia....iki/Sea_serpent What do you think of them?
  4. Dragons

Greetings. (not sure if this is the right place for this topic) So we all know that Dragons aren't real (despite some of us wanting them to be), we also know that they are usually depicted as a sort of lizard/reptile type creature who can usually fly, breath fire, sometimes poisonous etc associated with wisdom and longevity and were created in our minds many years back. There are two distinct cultural traditions of dragons: the European Dragons and the Oriental Dragons. The European Dragon has bat-type wings growing from its back. They are commonly portrayed as serpentine or reptilian, hatching from eggs and possessing typically scaly or feathered bodies some myths also portray them with a row of dorsal spines and watch over treasure very diligently. Oriental Dragons mostly resemble large snakes that are often held to have major spiritual significance in various religions and cultures and revered as representative of the primal forces of nature, religion and the universe. A dragon-like creature with no front legs is known as a Wyvern. Western Dragon Eastern Dragon Wyvern
  5. God?

Oh I found this in the bible. Just thought I'd share it with you guys >.> Yet she increased her prostitution, remembering the days of her youth when she engaged in prostitution in the land of Egypt. She lusted after their genitals as large as those of donkeys, and their seminal emission was as strong as that of stallions. Ezekiel 23: 19-20
  6. Random Pictures including Gifs

    I didn't think of that. Done :3
  7. God?

I was raised a christian too. but there was many things that made me believe that it was all lies and nothing went my way or anything when I most needed it. However there also was other very few times that I too thought there was a higher being because of those very few things that happened but... until there's proof I don't know either
  8. What Are You Gonna Do In 2012

I don't think the world will end or anything will happen that's apocalyptic. It'll even be funny watching the movie 2012 in the year 2013. or when we're old and telling lies to our grand kids saying "yep..I survived through that..and that...and th--ZZZZZ" but brace yourself that most people do think that something will happen and the most crazy (which are a lot) are probably going to go on shopping sprees and buy anything edible and useful in sight...so be sure to stock up on food and toilet paper not because of the 2012 apocalypse but because of the 2012 crazy shopping fanatics who think they can survive some major cataclysmic event with random supplies.
  9. Find Your Birthday Star

  10. Shadow person?

Like the boogie monster? lol. imagine for a second if it was real...some creep with crazed hair, rotten teeth, bug eyed jackass that looked like he was on meth. hey, kinda sounds like the druggie homeless guy down the street...
  11. God?

In my opinion, there MIGHT be a God or Gods or whatever but WE SIMPLY DON'T KNOW. The bible talks of a lot of things...and I've read it and thought "wtf am I doing reading this...this makes no sense what so ever." The belief that a cosmic Jewish zombie who was his own father (because there are some who state Jesus is God himself) can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master , so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib woman named Eve was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...Yeah, makes perfect sense... I think the bible is mostly made up just to keep people in check/in line without them acting like outrageous jackasses most of the time, because if you do, when you die you go to hell...where you and your soul die for a second time in a blazing pit...If I lived in the time it was written I might have believed that it would actually happen to me if I was a bad person because around those times there was a lot that was unknown. And whatever happened to the Gospel of Judas (because yes, he did write a part to the bible but it had mysteriously vanished) or when Jesus was a child/kid. There was a documentary about it I once saw that there where writings of when he was a kid and he killed someone (can't remember if it was a friend or the friends dad because of something he did to his friend). If there is a God, we can only guess for now. As for the bible...pfff. I wonder if I write an epic fairy tale that if, in lets say 500 or more years after, people will believe that its true and happened.
