Modelling dump

Before you see the images, I'd like to say I'm fairly new to Maya.

I've currently been learning it in college thanks to my Games and Animation course I am undergoing and I will say, it is a really good tool to waste time in.

Currently so far I have 3 working models in a game engine (source/team fortress 2) and a 4th if I can be arsed to convert it by the 8th when my broadband is online.

First Model:

Second Model:

It was more a UVWrap test.

Third Model:

More complex UVWrap test.

Fourth Model:

Stage 1 -

Added tail to scout

Stage 2 -

Added ears...

This was more of a joke model, I might put it ingame and jigglebone the tail (so it moves freely) as another test.

As you may of noticed, all of these models are very much tests to get me used to Maya.

I kinda wish this was less of a brag thread but I like to show off the work I produce. emot-ohdear.png

Good job, it's more than I completed when I first started Maya:

More of a repost as I've put these elsewhere on this site..

I wouldn't consider it bragging. The whole point in having a talent is the ability to share it with others.

To a degree it is true, but sometimes it feels like you are showing off too much.

Something I've been working on the past few days... Getting the stars rendered was a bitch to do

Looks really nice so far. I think you should start your own topic for it.

After watching that the first thing I thought of was an arcade game called Star Rider.

That looks more like a really bad 80's music video.

That looks more like a really bad 80's music video.

That was mind blowing in 1983, and is still amazing to me. Especially the technology behind it but I like that sort of thing.

That Audio surf is a great concept.

Far be it for me to critique what you're doing but the 321 should have the colors reversed. So they represent stop, get ready, and go.
