Eventually we'll have the technology to just do that. Though I don't think we'll be alive long enough to see it happen. Maybe in our life times they can send some kind of probe or something to at least check it out.

Argh, well hopefully my grandchildren will be able to see something like that happening... it'd be funny if we went there with a ship and there are people there building a ship to come over here (to Earth).  :D

I'll bet it would be like the episode of Futurama where they travel to that parallel universe.

Yeah, it seemed like that show used to be on every channel... Now I don't even see it anymore.. Ah well, it vanished like Cowboy Bebop and uhh Trigun? Yeah, whatever happened to those shows.. They were good. I have no clue why they would take them off adult swim.

Before the time of Cowboy Bebop they used to show Outlaw Star which I liked as well.

Street Fighter

Fist of the North Star

R.O.D Read or Die

I actually calculated how long it would take to get there if we started now.

3987692.308 Earth Years to travel 20 light years. And that's just theoretical time.

Wow, we have a better chance of building the space elevator then we do going there anytime soon.

I concur.

I've seen one as well a couple times before. It was probably the same one. Its where I learned about the carbon nanotubes from.
